This is one of my favorite hostas to come around in the past few years. I'm a sucker for anything fragrant, and boy does this beauty fit the bill. The fragrance is heavenly and resembles that of Hosta plantaginea, if not as strong. There's a reason that it was named Hosta of the Year in 1996.

A very pale lavender, the flowers hover just above the green and white variegated leaves and will rebloom dependably if cut.

It will show its vigor in just about any situation; I have it growing in sun, shade, and everything in between with no reversion to a non-variegated form. I've found that it produces more flowers in sunnier locations, though.
